She came for the routine. She stayed for the 6:30am crew.

When Anne moved to Fort Collins, she didn’t know anyone.

She’d trained at a semi-private gym back home and knew exactly what she was looking for here. A consistent schedule, a plan she didn’t have to think about, and coaches who would hold her to it. She wanted to remove the guesswork and just show up.

She found us a few weeks after her move and never really looked back.

Three months in she competed in our summer sendoff event, going for a one rep max in bench, deadlift, and squat. She was all in. What she didn’t fully anticipate was the group of people she’d be doing it alongside.

A year later she’s a fixture of the 6:30 crew. Same faces, three times a week, every week. The kind of tight-knit group that forms when people show up consistently in the same room long enough to actually know each other.

Earlier this year Anne went through a hard stretch with some family medical issues. She came in one morning after receiving some bad news. She didn’t say much. She just asked her crew for a hug.

They wrapped her up. And she walked back out into the world a little less alone.

She came for the routine. What she found was a whole lot more than that.

If you just moved to Fort Collins and you’re ready to find your place, we’d love to meet you.
