Monday we talked about feeling lost in all of this.
Today we want to talk about what actually helps.
Because the changes are real, but so is what you can do about them. This season responds to the right inputs. Here’s where we’d start.
Strength train.
This is the big one.
As hormones shift, muscle and bone become harder to hold onto, and lifting is how you protect both. It supports your metabolism, your posture, and how steady you feel on your feet.
You will not get bulky. You will get capable.
Eat enough.
So many women in this season are quietly under-eating and wondering why they feel worse.
Your body needs more support right now, not less. Eating enough is what lets you recover, train, and feel like yourself.
Prioritize protein.
Protein helps you hold onto muscle, stay full, and steady out the cravings.
A solid target is 30 to 40 grams at most meals. Build your plate around it.
Protect your sleep.
Sleep is when your body recovers and regulates.
Even thirty minutes earlier makes a difference. Guard it like it matters, because it does.
Walk most days.
A daily walk does more than people expect.
It helps with stress, energy, and clarity, and it asks almost nothing of you.
You don’t need to do all five at once.
Pick one. Build a little momentum. Let it compound.
And if having someone hand you the structure sounds better than piecing it together alone, that’s exactly what we do here.
