TL;DR: Unlimited personal training means a coach plans every session and runs it with you, and there is no cap on how many sessions you come to. What is unlimited is the accountability and the coaching, so the decisions come off you. At RE:GEN in Fort Collins, you start at a number of sessions you can sustain and grow it as your goals need.
Maybe you’ve had a membership with the word unlimited on it.
You could have come in seven days a week. You came in twice most weeks, repeated the same three machines, and left.
Unlimited isn’t really for someone like me.
Our membership at RE:GEN is unlimited personal training, and two days a week is a normal way to use it.
Every one of those days is planned by a coach, and you add another when your week has room.

What Is Unlimited Personal Training?
Unlimited personal training is a membership where a coach runs every session and there is no cap on how many sessions you can come to. Your coach decides which exercises you do and what changes from one week to the next. Sessions can be strength, mobility or cardio, and all of them are coached. At RE:GEN, it runs as semi-private personal training in groups of four or fewer, with each person on their own plan.
You have your own program.
A coach is running the session and watching how you move.
Three other people at most are working out in the same room.
How Is Unlimited Personal Training Different From an Unlimited Gym Membership?
An unlimited gym membership lets you use the equipment as often as you like, and you decide what to do with it every time. Unlimited personal training means a coach runs every session you come to. The exercises and the sets are decided before you arrive, and your coach adjusts them when something feels off. There is no cap on how many of those coached sessions you can come to.
Who Is Unlimited Personal Training For?
Unlimited personal training is for people who have figured out for themselves that staying consistent takes accountability and fewer decisions. It suits busy lives that still run on a routine. You get dedicated session times you can count on, with the flexibility to move them when your week changes. It also suits people who are not sure how many days a week to work out, or who do not know what to do once they are in.
Maybe you’ve got a full calendar, and the only way anything happens is when it has a set time.
Maybe you’ve never been sure whether you should be lifting or doing cardio.
Or maybe you’ve been guessing at how many days a week is enough.
A coach makes those calls with you.
What Is Semi-Private Personal Training?
Semi-private personal training gives you a program written for you and a coach running every session, in a small group instead of one-on-one. At RE:GEN, groups are four people or fewer. Everyone in the room is working on their own plan.
The weight you’re lifting is yours, and so are the exercises. Nobody next to you is on the same plan.
What you share is the coach, the hour and the room.
Are Strength, Mobility and Cardio Sessions All Coached?
Yes. At RE:GEN, strength, mobility and cardio sessions are all coached sessions under the membership. Your coach decides how your week is split between them, based on what you are working toward and how much time you have each week. You do not have to plan a mobility day or a cardio day yourself.
Before now, those sessions competed with each other.
If your membership covered two or three days a week, a mobility day cost you a strength day.
That call usually goes the same way, and the mobility work is what gets dropped.
What Changes When One Thing Is Holding Your Strength Back?
Maybe one specific thing is limiting you. Stiff hips, stiff ankles, a shoulder that will not get overhead. Working on it takes time, and on a two-day week that time comes straight out of the strength work. Unlimited personal training means both get their own coached session, so progress on one stops costing progress on the other.
We have a member three months in who is tall and has always been stiff. His strength is capped by how well he moves, and every week the choice was strength or the thing that would let him get stronger.
Two sessions a week can’t hold both.
They don’t have to any more.
What Changes If You’re Already Consistent?
Consistency stops being the problem, and something else starts limiting you. Once you are in three days a week and it is holding, you usually want another piece. Conditioning, or help with what you eat, or a fourth day. On a fixed number of sessions, adding one of those means dropping something that is already working. With unlimited personal training, it gets added on top, and your coach decides what that fourth day is for.
You get there and the list gets longer.
You want conditioning, or help with what you eat, or a fourth day.
On a fixed number of sessions, every one of those costs you something that is already working.
What Happens in Your First Month?
Everyone starts with one-on-one sessions with a coach before joining a group. That is eight sessions across four weeks, and it exists so the plan you follow later is built on how you actually move. Your coach sees what your hips and shoulders do under load. They work around anything that is bothering you, and teach the movements you will use every week after that. By the time you walk into your first small group, you know what you are doing and why.
It also means your coach knows your history before they write a single session for you.
What Does the Nutrition Support Include?
Nutrition support comes with the membership. It includes macro tracking, a meal prep library and a recipe library, along with accountability from your coach. It sits alongside your sessions rather than being a separate program you buy.
How Many Sessions a Week Do You Need?
Your coach sets a starting number you can sustain, built around your week rather than around what is possible. The CDC puts muscle-strengthening work at two or more days a week, and two is a real place to start. From there the number grows as your goals ask for it, into a fourth day and, for some people, a fifth. The aim is as many sessions as you need to reach your goals, and no more than that. You can also add an extra one when your week allows.
Unlimited doesn’t mean come in as much as possible. It means come in on a cadence that makes sense for you and where you are in life.
Once two is holding, your coach adds the third, and the baseline moves up with you.

Why Did RE:GEN Build Unlimited Personal Training?
RE:GEN built this membership because of what members told us in goal reviews and conversations. They needed more cardio, more strength training, more nutrition advice and support, and more accountability. They wanted progress on all of it at once, and they did not know how to put it together on their own. Building it into one membership was the most direct way to help. It takes effect on October 5.
Members sit down with a coach for a goal review, and we go through what’s working and what they want next.
The same list kept coming back. The membership I was selling had a number of sessions on it, and the number was the thing in the way.
If you’ve written yourself a plan and still skipped the gym, read why you can’t stay consistent with working out.
Common Questions About Unlimited Personal Training
Unlimited personal training suits you if you want every session coached and do not want to decide what to do each time you come in. You do not have to come in every day to get value from it. It is semi-private, so you work out in a small group while following your own plan. You can start with the number of sessions your coach recommends and add more when your week allows.
Is unlimited personal training one-on-one?
No. It’s semi-private, in groups of four or fewer, and every person has their own program.
Why not just hire a personal trainer?
One-on-one gives you one time slot a week and one relationship.
Here, a coach still writes your program and still watches you lift.
You end up knowing the people beside you, and they notice when you’re not in.
Do I have to come in every day?
No. We set your number at your No-Sweat Intro, and it moves as your goals do.
